I love this! It is honestly a genius design in my opinion. Normally I have this folded up and my cats sleep on it. Whenever I have guests over, I unfold it, add a pillow-topper (because it is rather firm), and put twin-size bedding on it. It works great. Recently, my husband and I had a LOTR movie marathon and set this up in front of our couch to create a "couch bed". This may have been a mistake because we cannot bring ourselves to fold it back up because it's so comfortable to lay out in the living room. I am currently considering buying a second one because the one we have is so great. I would definitely recommend this to others!My ottoman arrived yesterday in perfect condition. The Navy Blue is gorgeous. Just take it out of the box and unfold. Sturdy, love the magnets on the edge of the skirt. Design and engineering was very thought out. Only have family visit maybe once ir twice a year, so I didn’t want to have to maintain a bed nor have it take up the room. The ottoman is the perfect space saver and very functional as just an ottoman. Will definitely buy 1 or 2 more for other rooms.This looks really good when assembled in all it's variations. From ottoman, chair, to bed, it's super easy to convert to each and it maximizes a small space. As a bed, it can be too hard for some. My friend reported it was too stiff to be comfortable so I will probably get a roll out mattress to help.No assembly needed. Purchased for its versatility & as a guest bed if needed. Quality materials and no odor when unboxed. I plan on using for an ottoman mostly but also as a guest chair when I have people over in my small apartment.Okay so the look and easy to assemble, easy to adjust is great.Why I returned it:It's HEAVY as can be for such a small and convenient item.And the main point I would like to impress upon you is that unless you have a really long leg from buttocks to knee joint, your legs will be sticking out straight when you sit and use it like a chair. You would have to scoot forward and sit in the middle of the cushion, never able to lean against the back. It's also VERY firm. You will NOT have a nice sleep on this piece. I added a foam pad and many blankets to it, and I was still extremely uncomfortable.DO NOT PURCHASE this item unless you are tall, and don't plan to sleep on it or even relax very much. Also, it's always best to measure your leg and compare the dimensions/length to any couch or chair you're considering.They work great and don't look comfortable until you lay on them and get a great nights sleep. They are bit on the firm side but perhaps that is why I can get such nice sleep on them. Overall really nice sofa beds!This was bought for extra sleeping at our cottage. Haven’t used it yet but just setting it up and quickly trying it gives us the impression that it will work just fine. Also is comfortable and works well as the ottoman. Nice material and looks great!We needed an extra bed. And had a tight space. This worked great for what we needed. The pad is great but a bit hard for sleeping on. Will probably use a foam pad to cushion it for sleeping. Tha frame is sturdy and the fabric is great. Delivery was good too.
