Wasn't what I was expecting or what I thought purchased; I didn't notice it was acrylic. That was my bad. It's not a classic cotton woven waffle blanket. It was thin and scratchy out of the bag, and I was prepared to return it. However after I washed it, it wasn't so bad. It became softer and looks better. It will suffice as a couch back decorative cover, or slung over a chair, more for aesthetic purposes than something I'll use, as it is very light. Washes and dries almost immediately, so this would be good for a guest room end of bed throw, or couch pet protection. It's inexpensive, so you are getting an inexpensive blanket. I'll probably be getting a real cotton one however, to actually use this winter. Those are double the price, so just be aware of what you are purchasing.
